Take note – story published 6 years ago

Exotic blue morpho butterflies have made their way from South America to the University of Latvia Botanical Garden. Visitors are invited to step into a world of blue from April 28 to May 7.

About a 100 chrysalises of Morpho genus butterflies were incubated at the botanical garden on Kandavas st. 2 in Rīga. Now they present a great opportunity to feel the flutters of butterfly wings on your skin and witness an incredible variety of color.

The garden is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets cost just €3.90.

Furthermore an exhibition dedicated to cacti and other succulents is also on show at the garden.
