A series of festive concerts at train stations across Latvia got underway in Daugavpils May 26 with a memorable feast of song and dance outside the central station. 

As previously reported by LSM, Daugavpils was first stop on a locomotive tour by folk singers and dancers putting on free concerts.

The crowd in Daugavpils was treated to a performance of the highest quality worthy of any song festival, culminating in a magnificent rendition of the classic 'Saule, Perkons, Daugava'... followed by an encore.
