Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds to play Positivus

Take note – story published 6 years ago

You'd better run, you'd better run, you'd better run to the City of Refuge otherwise known as the small Latvian resort of Salacgriva next July, as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have been confirmed as headliners at the 2018 Positivus festival.

The acclaimed singer, songwriter, novelist, scriptwriter, actor and general all-round Renaissance man will haul his carny into town on Sunday July 22, the festival organizers have announced.

The presence of Cave and company is sure to mean tickets will be in huge demand. Positivus Festival will return for the 12th time on 20, 21, and 22 July, filling the beautiful coastal venue in Salacgriva with more dazzling live shows from well-known and established stars, cutting edge emerging artists, a large number of Baltic acts and other surprises that are not to be missed. Early Bird tickets are already on sale.

We are big fans of Cave here in the LSM office and even met him once (but that's a story for another day). We recommend his album Tender Prey in particular and here's one of our favorite tracks to get you in the mood.
