Here's a few events you might be interested in while you're in Latvia for the weekend.

Eurovision star takes over at Golden club

MNTHA, who partook in Latvia's national Eurovision in 2015, is performing at the Golden bar on June 3 at 7 p.m. 

"We keep it full of love, smoke, techno, decadence & insomnia," say organizers.

Poetry in Riga

The Kaņepes Culture center is hosting Poetry Without Borders, a poetry festival featuring readings in three languages - Russian, Swedish and Latvian - with the support of the Swedish Art Council and Swedish Academy.

Is this music or noise?

Meanwhile the Danish noise musician Puce Mary and the techno producer SØS Gunver Ryberg will perform at OneOne (Šarlotes st. 18, Riga) as part of a special one-off organized by the Sound Forest festival.

Puce Mary’s album The Spiral was named as one of the 50 best records of 2016 by The Wire.
