After a tough first set Ostapenko breezed past Larsson in the second with an ease suiting this year's French Open champion.

The Korea Open is the first tournament where Ostapenko is the top seed. It was Ostapenko's second match against Larsson (WTA 85), whom she won last year in Oakland.
Ostapenko will take on Japan’s Nao Hibino in the second round.
