Latvian national airline airBaltic began two new routes on its schedules March 26, from Riga to Odessa and from Vilnius to Paris.

The airline will fly from Riga to Odessa in Ukraine up to 4 times weekly using a mix of Boeing 737 and Bombardier Q400NextGen on the route. The flight is scheduled to last 2 hours 30 minutes.

One-way ticket prices start at €89, including airport fees and transaction costs.

airBaltic has also expanded its destination list from the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, with a revived flight connecting it to the capital of France from March 26.

Wolfgang Reuss of airBaltic's Network Management department said: “We are delighted to return to [our] Vilnius - Paris route, as we now see encouraging demand. The service from Vilnius adds to the existing Riga - Paris and Tallinn - Paris direct routes, and strengthens airBaltic’s presence in the Baltic States."

The Vilnius - Paris connection will operate four times weekly and join airBaltic's flights from Lithuania to Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Riga and Tallinn.
