airBaltic passengers up 17% on year in February

This February, Latvia's airBaltic carried 175,851 passengers, up 17% over the same month last year, the company told the press.

airBaltic transported a total of 363,847 passengers in the first two months of 2017.

In February the airline operated 3,030 flights, which is 12% up over February 2016, when airBaltic operated 2,715 flights. 

The airline's load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, was at a level of 66% in February 2017. During the first two months of 2017, airBaltic load factor was at a level of 64%.

The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic reached a level of 89,2% in February 2017. This means that more than 89 of every 100 airBaltic flights in February departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes. 

airBaltic connects the Baltic region with 60 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and the CIS.
