One of the movement’s initiators, Inese Andersone told LSM: “We have high quality export brands, and even more – we do and always will have talented people that make us proud every day. In this book we have combined stories about entrepreneurs, as well as world known Latvian musicians, artists, architects, athletes, scientists and philosophers.”
“We have collected experience stories of both mature companies and rising export stars. In addition, each company nominated one talented Latvian personality that they wanted to highlight."
Ahead of 2018, which also marks the 100th anniversary of Latvia's foundation, The Red Jackets movement plans to gather together 100 of the most outstanding export brands and release a third third book of inspiration.
The second book is available at “Jāņa Rozes” bookstores.
"The Red Jackets" is a Latvian exporting company support movement, which aims to create a single, understandable story about Latvia as a country of origin for goods and services.
