airBaltic announces five new routes for next summer

Summer 2017 may still be with us but Latvian national airline airBaltic on August 15 named five new destinations to which it will fly next summer.

For the summer season of 2018 airBaltic has added Malaga (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Split
(Croatia), Bordeaux (France) and Gdansk (Poland). Additional new destinations will be announced in the future, the airline said.

Each destination will be served twice weekly, apart from Gdansk which will get three flights per week.

During the first six months of 2017, airBaltic carried a total of 1.5 million passengers
throughout its network, which is the second highest number of passengers in the history of the airline.
