Eagle Uģis. Documentary, Latvia, 2015

Director: Matīss Spaile

About one fifth of the lesser spotted eagle population resides in Latvia, but it's under constant threat. Uģis Bergmanis is one of the best-known ornithologists in Latvia. He does everything so that eagles wouldn't disappear from Latvia. Besides caring about birds, Uģis' passion is hunting wolves. He can wait for hours in freezing temperatures until he meets his prey. A single human being has many stories to tell - and one of them will be in this documentary.
