Latvia's Foreign Ministry said Monday it "condemns in the strongest terms the act of terror in the Pakistani city of Quetta on 8 August when a suicide bomber detonated himself in a hospital, killing more than 60 people and wounding at least one hundred."
The attack occurred when a large number of people had gathered in the hospital for a commemorative event in Pakistan's ninth-largest city.
"Latvia strongly condemns terrorism of any kind and offers deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims as well as wishing a rapid recovery to those injured in the act of terror," the statement from the ministry said..
