As with the previous ten years, the get together of think tank staff, politicians, military personnel and journalists last two days and features various sessions, many of them with Russia as primary or secondary topics for consideration.
The event will be livestreamed and you can follow it and get full agenda at the official website HERE.
Looking forward to exciting two days of discussions at #RigaConf, warm welcome to all participants and speakers

The Riga Conference describes itself as "a unique venue for constructive dialogue on international security issues between leading global decision makers. The event is organized jointly by the Latvian Transatlantic Organisation, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. The ability to facilitate such debates at various levels and with the participation of high level politicians, diplomats, experts, as well as local and international media is a proof of our ability to think and work in a global context attracting key players and facing the issues that affect our societies the most."
The venue is the Latvian National Library, which will be out of bounds to the public as a result.
The organizers have produced a promotional video in which various participants say how good the event is.
In parallel there will also be an event for young people, the Riga Conference Future Leaders Forum 2016, which describes itself as "a unique possibility for future leaders to raise awareness about the region’s and world’s most important foreign, defense and security policy issues" involving "young diplomats, journalists, politicians, and state officials in-the-making."
