The agreement was signed at Latvia's Foreign Ministry.
Under cabinet decree, €34,000 will be allocated from the state budget for the medical treatment of Ukrainian soldiers.
Medical assistance to persons affected by the crisis in Ukraine began in the medical institutions of Latvia in 2014 and continued through 2015 and 2016.
More than 30 Ukrainian soldiers have undergone treatment in Latvia over these years, benefiting from the state support program.
In view of the ongoing conflict in the east of Ukraine, Latvian medical and rehabilitation institutions will continue providing medical assistance to persons who have suffered from hostilities, the Foreign Ministry said.
