We may even get another sprinkling of early snow at the start of the week, with temperatures dropping below freezing at night and strong winds making things feel even colder.
Nākamās nedēļas sākums saglabāsies vējains, bet līdz ar novembra sākumu sagaidīsim siltāku laiku. Plašāk: https://t.co/6UkxW2Cre1 pic.twitter.com/SWyxXdUjDJ

On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, in most of Vidzeme and Latgale, the temperature will be slightly below zero, in places reaching -3 degrees Celsius, while the rest of the country will have an air temperature of +1 .. + 6 degrees. On both days the temperature will rise to +3 to + 8 degrees, while on Wednesday coastal areas could enjoy a balmy +10 degrees.
In the second half of the week, warmer air will enter our region with western winds. The temperature will remain above freezing during both days and nights, varying from +1 to + 11 degrees. Precipitation will be lower than at the beginning of the week, but unfortunately every day will see rain in one part of Latvia or another.
Preliminary data show that October in Latvia will be slightly (less than a degree) cooler than the climatic norm, but much more humid than usual due to rainfall of 3 to 5 times the normal amount.
Most long-term forecasts show that November will be slightly warmer than normal, so winter is unlikely to come in full force, but it could be another soggy one, so make sure there are no holes in your boots.
