This year's Rīga Performance Festival will include a special performance by Daria Kalashnikova, a Ukrainian artist, in a performance dedicated to Ukraine.

Titled “How long this can last?” the performance will take place at the Art Academy of Latvia (Riga, Kalpaka bulvāris 13, Big Hall on the second floor) on June 18 at 20:30. Entrance is free.

"June 18 will be the 115th day of the war in Ukraine. This figure sounds like dry statistics. It hides 115 days of deadly danger, rape, and genocide. The performance “How long this can last?” is designed to immerse the viewer in the atmosphere of everyday life during the war in Ukraine," the artist told LSM.

The Rīga Performance Festival 'Starptelpa' runs June 17, 18, 19. Details of all performances are available at its Facebook page.
