Saldus Saule
Saldus Saule ('Saldus Sun') positions itself as the oldest rock music festival in Latvia. At this point there is more than rock music going on, with metal, folk, pop, punk, indie, and rap joining the lineup.
Saldus Saule tkes place July 26 to 28 in the city of Saldus, Kalnsētas Open air Stage (Kalnsētas Street 24A).

Porta
On July 26, an extensive program of concerts and films will take place at the K. K. von Stricka Villa in Riga starting 18:00. The first part will feature Laura Cortese & Bert Ruymbeek (Belgium/USA), the second part - Pulsa Efeks & Leila Alijeva with their varied performances and musical compositions. The festival will close with the Bani Hill Band from Georgia.
Film lovers will be treated to musical films from the SoundSite series.
Porta is a world music festival taking place for the 19th time in Latvia.

Sigulda Opera Music Festival
On July 26 to 28, the annual opera music festival is taking place in Sigulda, with an opening overture concert on Friday at 19:00 at the New Castle Garden, Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata on Saturday at 21:00 at the Castle Ruins Open Air Stage, and a Gala concert on Sunday at 18:00 at the Castle Ruins Open Air Stage.
The opera music festival has been taking place since 1993.
