Latvian Postal service (Latvijas pasts, LP) will issue a second stamp in the series of Latvian manors, dedicated to Hartmann (Hartmaņa) Manor in Rīga, Kalnciema Street, the postal service said on March 28 .

The design of the new postage stamp in the form of a miniature painting was created by artist, Professor and former rector of the Latvian Academy of Art, Aleksejs Naumovs. The stamp will initially be available for purchase in the largest postal departments, as well as in the Latvian Post e-shop.

The postage stamp has been issued in 50,000 copies, with a nominal value of EUR 1.88 corresponding to the payment of correspondence of letters of Group 12 weighing up to 20 grams.

A special envelope of 500 copies has also been issued with a postage stamp.

The Hartmann Manor complex is one of the most beautiful elements of the unique cultural landscape of Kalnciem Street. Over the years, the property has been divided several times, but it is now re-merged into one area. The Manor complex includes the old and new buildings, as well as ancillary buildings, and part of Manor Park. The old residential building was built in around 1786. The Hartmann Manor has been included in the list of State protected cultural monuments.
