The 'Osokin's Freedom Festival for Ukraine', which brought together nearly 80 Latvian, Ukrainian and Estonian artists in nine concerts from May 25 to June 8, collected over €20 000 to support Ukraine, the organizers said June 13.

The funds collected from concert ticket revenues and donations, in cooperation with Ziedot.lv, will be donated to support the Ukrainian people – humanitarian, medical and defense assistance.

The festival ended on 8 June at Hansa Platform with a concert featuring 50 Latvian and Ukrainian artists.

The festival initiated cooperation between Ukrainian and Latvian artists, providing an opportunity for Ukrainian musicians and artists to continue their profession, create new concert programs, and enrich Latvian cultural space, said the organizers.

Until Wednesday, June 15, it is possible to contribute to the donations on the Ziedot.lv website.

On June 26, the same organizers will hold a special night concert at the St. Savior's Anglican Church in the Old Town which will also be dedicated to Ukrainian support.
