Discover Gauja National Park on live tours

Gauja National Park can now be explored through free online virtual tours,  Gauja National Park Tourism association Enter Gauja said December 21.

Both Latvian residents and foreigners can get to know Gauja National Park remotely via Facebook Live event, enjoy breathtaking views and local culture. Tours are available in English.

Virtual tours are broadcast using Facebook Live video, enabling you to chat with a guide in real time, ask questions and share your thoughts. Visitors will be able to remotely attend traditional cooking lessons, history classes, and participate in walks or boat tours.

During the tour, the guide presents Latvian traditions, local delicacies, products and other souvenirs specific to the Gauja National Park. After the tour, there is an opportunity to order the goods and souvenirs from local home producers.

“Enter Gauja” is the tourism cluster of Gauja National Park, which, by bringing together entrepreneurs, local authorities and other institutions, provides for the management of travel destinations in the region of Gauja National Park.

The largest national park in the Baltic has been established more than 40 years ago and protects the treasures of the Valley of Gauja and its surroundings (the region of Gauja).
