Epners has made over sixty films throughout his career. The film center's selection includes fifteen documentaries, short films and feature films. Some of his work, especially short films like Dzīvs/Alive (1970) and Gājiens ar zirdziņu/Horse play (1973) are particularly friendly to international audience due to their primarily visual and barely verbal content.
