This week, take a look at things Latvians are proud of – nature, folk dance, and classical music. Be careful so the wind doesn't blow you away.

Nightly walk with animals

On Saturday, January 29, Līgatne Nature trails offer a nightly hike through the trails to observe wild animals during the night. A guide will take you to those animals who are rarely seen in the daytime. The hike lasts two hours and is organized in five groups, the first of which departs at 17:00.

Sigils of Folk Dance 

Starting January 30, a multimedia dance show on Latvian folk dance will be screened at Forum Cinemas. You can read the synopsis and purchase tickets here.

Symphony Grand Concert

Latvian symphony music grand concert is an annual tradition that has been ongoing for 15 years. On January 29, the concert takes place in the Great Guild. Latian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Guntis Kuzma. The orchestra will reintroduce the audience to several Latvian composers' music.
