Three for the Weekend: Three things to do on the weekend

Take note – story published 6 years ago

With a healthy dose of tautology we present you with three suggestions of things to do in Latvia over the weekend.

Navy jazz

On 26th of January at the Riga History and Navigation museum will perform famous brit jazz pianist and composer Katya Sourikova in a duet with world known cello player Ruslan Vilensky! Ruslan Vilensky is one of the most famous Latvian cellists of his generation.

Art in Latgale

An exhibition of Kazakhstan-born artist Taya Bell is open until February 22 in the Latgale's GORS concert hall.

Her works, sometimes religious in nature, portray things the artist has encountered in her daily life.

Bonus

Seeing as the weather is foul, we'll simply conclude this weekend's recommendations with an invitation to vote for Riga (or otherwise as you see fit), which has been shortlisted among Europe's top twenty 2018 destinations on an official EU tourism website.
