The grills are located in the southern part of Lucavsala, in the green area on the bank of the Mazā Daugava, between the Lucavsala Bay swimming area and the Riga Rowing Club.
The grill park with seven picnic areas is open to all visitors of Lucavsala Park. Rīga City Council reminds you to be cautious, observe fire safety, and tidy up after yourself.
As part of the further development of the Lucavsala recreation area, 70 fruit trees - different varieties of apple, pear and cherry trees - were planted in the area near the children's playgrounds in the spring.
The Lucavsala recreation area was created more than ten years ago. It includes a swimming pool and a municipal rescue station, children's playgrounds, volleyball courts and exercise equipment, as well as a dog walking area.
