Latvian children's publisher named best in Europe

The Latvian children's literature publishing house 'Liels un mazs' was awarded the Bologna Prize for the Best Children’s Publishers of the Year, (BOP) the Bologna Children's Book Fair announced on March 21.

The BOP is awarded to the top children's publishers across the world for their creativity, innovation, and the quality of their editorial choices, according to the website.

Liels un mazs is an independent publisher founded in 2004, focusing on contemporary local children's literature. Since 2014, the books published by Liels un mazs are translated into English, German, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Italian, French, Japanese, Swedish, and other languages.
