Take note – story published 1 year ago

Next year, the popular “Positivus” music festival will take place in Rīga again, on Lucavsala island, the organizers' representative Elva Lorence told the LETA news agency.

The festival will take place over two days – July 14 and July 15, but there will no longer be the option to camp out in tents.

From Wednesday, November 23, the first festival tickets will be available on sale at the festival's website. It will be the fifteenth iteration of the festival, which has gained a reputation as one of the best pop and rock festivals in northern Europe. It was staged on the Baltic coast in Salacgrīva from 2007 to 2019, but after two cancelled years as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, it returned in the capital, Rīga, in 2022.

On May 17, 2022, SIA POSITIVUS EVENT concluded a contract with the  Latvian Investment and Development Agency for receiving support within the framework of the "Promotion of International Competitiveness" measure, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
