Take note – story published 3 years ago

Tuesday, July 28, at 6:00 on Dzintari beach in Jūrmala, the organ will be played by the world-renowned Latvian organist, the guest artist of the Hamburg Elbe Philharmonic, Iveta Apkalna, the concert organizers said July 27.

The majestic sounds of the organ will converge with the sound of wind, sea and trees, creating an unheard interaction between nature and the instrument.

Taking into account the Cabinet regulations, the starting time  has been changed from the originally planned 4 AM to 6 AM. During the event, the audience shall be requested to follow the recommended 2 metres distance. It will be possible to listen to the concert both on the beach and on the water if you arrive with your boat. Entry free-of-charge .

In order to ensure that the audience reaches the concert, there will be a special train at 4:58 from Riga to Majori. To get to this train at Riga Central Station, you must use the A Tunnel, which will be open at 4:30.

A similar event last year proved to be a big hit with the public. You can see LTV's report on it below.
