Latvia's basketball team will head to Indonesia for World Cup

Latvia will face some stiff opposition in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which will take place in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia in August and September this year.

The Latvian men's basketball team will meet Canada, France and Lebanon in their qualifying group of the World Cup, it was determined April 29 at the draw in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

The 32 national teams qualified for the World Cup were divided into eight baskets before the draw, taking into account their places in the FIBA ​​rankings and their geographical location.

The Latvian team coached by Luca Banchi will play in Jakarta, Indonesia. The full draw ceremony can be watched below.
