Latvian representatives have been participating in the Paralympic Games since 1992 in Barcelona, where two track and field athletes competed. Paris is the ninth Summer Games in a row in which Latvian Paralympians are competing.

Who represents Latvia and what are the athletes' starting times?
Diāna Krūmiņa (discus, javelin in F55 test class)
Krūmiņa is competing in the Paralympic Games for the third time. She is the Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games champion and Tokyo bronze medalist in javelin. Krūmiņa won silver in Tokyo and bronze in Rio in the discus.
Start in Paris: August 30 at 11:00 in the discus; on September 3 at 11:00 in javelin
Aigars Apinis (discus in F52 test class)
Apinis is participating in the seventh Paralympic Games of his career. He is a three-time Paralympic discus champion with gold medals in 2004 in Athens, 2008 in Beijing and 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. Apinis also earned silver in 2012 in London and bronze in 2021 in Tokyo. The 51-year-old athlete also has a full set of Paralympic medals in the shot put.

Rihards Snikus (Paralympic dressage)
Snikus is participating in the fourth Paralympic Games after a successful previous start in Tokyo, where he won two silver medals with "King of the Dance".
Starts in Paris: September 3 at 14:45 individual competition; on September 7 at 13:40 individual freestyle competition
Jurijs Semjonovs (paraswimming in S7 test class)
Semjonovs is participating in his second Paralympic Games after his debut in Tokyo.
Starts in Paris: August 31 at 11:20 (200 meters medley); on September 3 at 10:30 (100 meters backstroke); on September 4 at 12:00 (50 meters freestyle); on September 7 at 11:20 (50 meters butterfly)
Emīls Dzilna (shot put F12 test class)
This debutant of the Paralympic Games has previously achieved significant success, winning a silver medal in the shot put and a gold medal in the Dubai Grand Prix at the World Para Athletics Championships.

Oskars Gailišs (cycling in C4 test class)
On his debut at the Paralympic Games, Gailiš will compete in several disciplines, both track and road cycling.
Starts in Paris : August 30 at 12:30 qualification on the 1km track; on August 31 at 12:00 qualification in 4km pursuit on the track; on September 4 at 09:00 road race time trials; on September 6 at 10:30 road race group start.
Margita Kanopka (shooting in P2 test class)
In the first Paralympic Games of her career, Kanopka will compete in pistol shooting at a distance of 10 meters.
Start in Paris: August 31 at 13:00 (qualification).
Raivo Maksims (shot put, javelin in F46 test class)
Maxims will compete in his first Paralympic Games in Paris, where he hopes to achieve the best results of his career to date.
Starts in Paris: September 3 at 21:40 in javelin; September 4 at 11:05 in shot put
