Latvian Šilovs named best goalie of the championship

The Latvian hockey team goalkeeper Artūrs Šilovs has been named the best goalie of the 2023 hockey world championship, the organizers announced on Sunday.

Šilovs played in all ten games of the championship, with a .921 save percentage and a 2.20 goal average.

As reported, on Sunday, for the first time ever, Latvia scored a bronze medal in the world hockey championship 2023 in Tampere.
