Another Latvian bobsleigh win

In what's rapidly turning into a vintage season for Latvia's slider's the Latvian four-man bob piloted by Oskars Melbardis finished first at the Bobsleigh World Cup event in Innsbruck on February 5.

It is the first World Cup win for Melbardis this season. He finished first in heat one and fifth in heat two, but was 0.05 seconds faster on aggregate than second-place finishers - Rico Peter's team (Switzerland). Steven Holcomb (U.S.) placed third, losing 0.06 seconds to Melbardis.

Oskars Kibermanis' four-man bob, which recorded a victory of its own a couple of weeks ago, finished in eighth place, while Ugis Zalims' team was seventeenth.
