Grigorjeva defeated Romania's Kriszta Tunde Incze early in the dzay 14:7 but later lost out to Ukraine's Irina Koliadenko in the bronze elimination competition and finished the games in a highly creditable 5th place.
This is the third Olympics for the 31-year-old Grigorjeva, who finished 9th in the London and 8th in Rio de Janeiro.
