The new postage stamp has been issued in 20,000 copies, with a nominal value of EUR 1.00 corresponding to the fee of letters in the weight category up to 20 grams in the territory of Latvia. A special envelope of 1,000 copies has also been issued.

The author of the design is the artist Ģirts Grīva, but the photograph used in the design is by the photographer Mikus Kļaviņš.
The new postage stamp and envelope will initially be available for purchase in the Latvijas Pasts branch on Elizabetes Street 41/43 and in the postal center Sakta on Brīvības Boulevard 32, Rīga, as well as in the Latvian Post e-store.
