In the 58 kg category, Koha lifted a combined total of 222 kilograms - 101 kilograms in the snatch and 121 kilograms in the clean and jerk.

Hsing-Chun Kuo (Taiwan) won the gold medal with 240 kilograms, while Sukanya Srisurat took silver with 225 kilograms.

The 19-year-old Koha in October triumphed at the European Junior Weightlifting Championship, for the third year in a row. In April, she won silver at the European Championship. At the Rio Olympics, Koha placed fourth.

Nine countries have been banned from competing at this year's World Championships due to their history of doping at previous Olympic Games: Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Turkey, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus and Azerbaijan.
