AmCham chairman Tully to continue

John Martin Tully, CEO of MikroTik was re-elected as the Chairman of the Board and President of the influential American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (AmCham) for 2022-2023, the organization confirmed.

He has served as the President of AmCham since 2021, and as a Board Member since 2020. On March 10, during the Annual General Meeting AmCham elected new Board Member Edgars Labsvirs of Medtronic and Liene Dubava of Nasdaq Riga and Nasdaq Baltic for her third term, Dita Erna Sile of Novartis Baltics for her second term and John Tully of MikroTik for his first term.

Tully has been working in IT in Latvia since the mid-1990s and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of MikroTik, a network equipment manufacturer.

He commented: “During this time of geopolitical crisis, the mission of AmCham remains more important than ever - to continue strengthening further economic and business ties with the U.S. As representatives of American and international business community, we stand united in maintaining stability and economic security in Latvia. The power of our network remains even more important as we navigate through the fallout of the appalling war in Ukraine. We stand with the people of Ukraine and pledge to help however we can.”

AmCham represents more than 140 leading U.S. and international companies, aiming to foster trade, investment, partnership and friendship between the U.S. and Latvia and it serves as a business, knowledge, networking and policy forum for its members and partners.
