At the online event, Baltic enterprises will present co-created pilot projects together with GreenTech startups.
The Future Hub Demo Day is part of the wider TechChill 2021 program but will also be available to anyone interested on May 19 from 15:00.
Those interested are invited to follow Future Hub Demo Day online on May 19 at a dedicated Facebook page.
Future Hub is described by organizers as "the first open innovation accelerator in the Baltics and was designed to enable local enterprises to collaborate with leading European GreenTech startups. Five market-leading Baltic companies - Swedbank Latvija, Latvenergo, Rimi Baltic Group, Orkla Latvija, and Riga City Council joined the program in March, each presenting a business sustainability challenge."
Ten best European GreenTech startups were chosen out of 160 startups from 40 countries. Startups and enterprises have been working together on pilot projects during the past three months.
"The last three months have been an extraordinary learning period for all program participants," said Anna Kiesnere, Business Development and Partner Relations Lead at Helve, which has helped organise the event.
"The biggest motivation for startups to join the program was the opportunity to enter the Baltic market. The time in the program has provided a unique opportunity to explore this market by cooperating with leading companies operating here. However, the enterprises themselves had a chance to delve into the startup solutions and the latest technologies in their industry; the Future Hub program was an opportunity to identify the potential development directions. The participants of the first Future Hub program have both achieved and learned plenty; therefore, Demo Day is a great opportunity to both present the pilot-projects and to inspire others," said Kiesnere.
