LMT turnover increased by 6.4% in 2019

Mobile operator "Latvijas Mobilais Telefons" (LMT) in 2019 reached a turnover of EUR 186.099 million, which is 6.4% more than in 2018, according to Firmas.lv information on May 25.

The company's profit increased by 9.3% and was EUR 30.566 million.

Revenue from network and roaming increased by 5.5% in 2019, revenue from goods and services by 15.5%, revenue from interconnections decreased by 6.4%, while the amount of discounts granted increased by 29.9%.

According to the company's annual report, LMT has set up five 5G base stations, investing a total of EUR 23.4 million in network development.

The report points out that LMT smart television and home services have developed particularly rapidly over the past year.

LMT also focuses on innovations in cross-sectoral cooperation: drones, mobility, public safety. Investment in 5G exploration and development will be a priority for LMT in 2020.
