The most widespread power supply disruptions were in Jelgava, Tukums, Ķekava, and Sigulda.
IWork on restoring the power supply continued during the night, "Sadales tīkls" promises.
The outage map on the company's website shows that the largest number of unplanned outages - around 500 - is in the western part of Zemgale, while in the rest of Latvia, there are only a few dozen.
In the coming days, specialists will continue to inspect the electricity transmission network to identify and cut down trees that could breaking but have not fallen yet.
