€1,059,771 will be distributed to cover the cost of insurance policies, €807,544 for implementation of various support measures that commenced in 2014, €582,051 for the development of horticulture, €542,201 for international and domestic cooperation, €482,541 for membership in food quality schemes, and €307,340 for market promotion measures.
Individual farmers and farming enterprises will be eligible to apply for the subsidies. If the amount of applications exceeds the available sum, the Rural Support Service will proportionally reduce the payable amounts per unit.
The subsidies concern private individuals and legal entities involved in agricultural production - about 4,500 recipients of state aid, nine scientific institutions, 16 animal husbandry organizations, and nine non-governmental farmers’ organizations.
