IMF cuts Latvia's growth forecast for 2018, 2019

In its latest World Economic Outlook, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has lowered its economic growth projection for Latvia this year and next.

According to the report, Latvia's economy is expected to grow 3.7% this year and 3.3% in 2019.

In its previous report, the IMF projected Latvian growth at 4% this year and 3.5% next year.

Meanwhile, the IMF projects that Latvian inflation will be at 2.7% this year and 2.4% next year, while unemployment will fall to 7.8% next year.

According to the IMF, Estonian economic growth this year will be 3.7%, and 3.3% next year, while in Lithuania growth this year will be 3.5% and 2.9% next year.
