Of the total amount, 93.98% or €156 million is needed for:
- €90.5 million for the purchase of vaccines,
- €1.3 million for logistics,
- €64 million for administering.
In addition, €1.2 million is earmarked for the operation of the call center, €1.45 million for information technology solutions and almost €5.59 million for national vaccination packages.
Much smaller amounts are planned for the bonuses to family doctors for the vaccinations of seniors and chronic patients, staff training, communication and the Vaccination Project Bureau, which needs nearly €642 thousand in funding.

In order to purchase the vaccines ordered for the first half of 2021 and to ensure the vaccination process, the government supported more than €52.2 million of funding. Most of the funding – €51 million – is earmarked for the purchase, logistics and delivery of vaccine doses by AstraZeneca, BioNTech/Pfizer, Modern, Janssen, CureVac, Novavax producers in December 2020 and beginning of 2021.
The allocated funding will be managed by the National Health Service (NVD), which will carry out arrangements in accordance with the agreements concluded with each other regarding the vaccines supplied, the logistics of vaccines and the provision of the vaccination process.
The rest of the funding is for family doctors' bonuses, for adrenaline injections to be provided at every vaccination site, for employing emergency teams at major vaccination centers, and for national, planned communication activities to educate, inform and encourage citizens to vaccinate.
