Mixed data on June retail

Retail trade turnover in June dropped by 0.4% compared to May, according to data published by Latvia's Central Statistical Bureau Wednesday.

 

The trend was caused mainly by a 1.8% reduction in food retailing - non-food products rose by 0.4%.

Compared to May, the total non-seasonally adjusted retail trade turnover at current prices in June rose by 0.4%.

Compared to June 2013, the total retail trade turnover in June 2014 increased by 2.8%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices.

In comparison with June of the previous year, total retail trade turnover at current prices rose by 2.5%
