According to the tenders page on the official website of the project, the design tender is for providing design guidelines for the whole railway track of Rail Baltica.
Its goal is "to ensure that universal design addresses the needs of the society, stakeholder parties of each country such as architect’s associations, universities, social partners as NGO’s for the disabled, retired, and family support, are to be engaged in the preparation of the guidelines," the company says.
The submission deadline for the proposal is July 18, 2018.
Market and climate change studies
Meanwhile one of the other two tenders announced recently was for researching the market of railway infrastructure components; the other seeks to conduct a study on climate change impact for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the railway.
The deadline for the market study is July 16 and July 6 for the climate change study.
