Take note – story published 8 years ago

Latvia’s national airline airBaltic announced Tuesday that it has extended its code share partnership with Uzbekistan Airways to link across the ocean to New York City’s JFK International Airport.

Uzbekistan Airways’ Boeing 767 plane will operate twice-weekly flights between RIX and JFK, allowing airBaltic customers to link up anywhere else in Europe from its hub in Latvia.

Also this week the Latvian passenger carrier launched its domestic German service to the coastal Baltic resort of Heringsdorf.
