In 2023, the highest monthly average gross salary, looking at the place of residence, was in Skanste district (2,876 euros), followed by Ķīpsala (2,358 euros) and the Old Town (2,262 euros), according to the experimental statistics.
According to these data, the average monthly gross salary in Riga was 1,614 euros per month last year.

More than 2,000 euros per month were also recorded in four other well-heeled districts of the capital: Mežaparks (2,196 euros), the Center (2,155 euros), Beberbeki (2,113 euros) and Pētersala-Andrejsala (2,097 euros).
In contrast, the lowest monthly average gross wages were in Voleri (1,072 euro), Rumbula (1,242 euros) and Bolderāja (1,249 euros).
