From October 2 at 10:00, the existing traffic organization on Jaunciema Avenue will be changed in order to complete the ongoing repairworks as soon as possible.
Alternating traffic flow - one lane at a time - is established on the section from Mīlgrāvis Bridge to Jaunciems.
The municipality invites road users to be reasonable, to re-plan their usual routes or to allow for longer travel times. If possible, the municipality encourages you to include Brīvības Avenue in your route now that major works have been completed.
The resurfacing and improvement works in Riga will last throughout the construction season, until late autumn if the weather conditions are favorable. During the works, traffic restrictions are to be expected, which may significantly affect the movement of cars and public transport, as well as the mobility of micro-mobility tools and pedestrians.
