The competition for the post, which was announced on August 15, is taking place over three rounds. During the first round, the nomination commission will evaluate the submitted documents and the applicants' compliance with the mandatory requirements.
At the end of the competition, the highest rated applicants will be nominated to the Ministry of Transport for final decision and appointment of candidates. However, recent expeerience with other open competitions for public sector jobs shows that sometimes even the final candidates are deemed wanting and the whole competition must be started again.
Upon taking office, the new board members will receive a monthly salary of 2,197 euros (before taxes), while the remuneration of the chairperson is scheduled to be 2,453 euros.
