Crash on Liepāja Highway Thursday with one fatality

On Thursday, October 17 morning, a road accident occurred on Liepāja Highway in Mārupe municipality. One person died. Traffic is blocked on the road section.

The police are urging drivers to take other routes.

The State Enterprise Latvian State Roads has indicated that the blocked section can be avoided by the Rīga bypass (A5), Riga-Ventspils (A10) and Kalnciems-Kūdra (P101) motorways.
