In order to improve driving conditions, 117 winter service technical units are involved in road maintenance work.
Difficult driving conditions are on the main roads A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11, A12, A13, A15, and P80.
On regional roads, difficult driving conditions are in the vicinity of Rīga, Ogre, Aizkraukle, Madona, Dobele, Jelgava, Gulbene, Smiltene, Saldus, Talsi, Jēkabpils, Kuldīga, Tukums, Liepāja, Dobele, Valka, and Ventspils.
Drivers should be particularly careful, choose the speed appropriate to the road surface condition, and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
