Finnair and Lufthansa resume flights from Riga

On Tuesday, June 2, flights from and to the airport “Riga” are resumed by the German airline “Lufthansa” and the Finnish air carrier "Finnair", said airport representative Laura Kulakova. 

It s currently possible to travel to nine destinations - Amsterdam, Oslo, Helsinki, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Vilnius, and Tallinn. Two more destinations - Paris and Düsseldorf - are scheduled to be open to flights soon.

In the first five months of this year, compared to the corresponding period of 2019, the number of passengers served at Riga airport decreased by more than half – by 54.7%.

In May, a total of 651 flights were operated at the airport. 1385 tonnes of cargo were operated.
