Fuel prices in Rīga fall slower than Tallinn, Vilnius

Last week fuel prices in the capital cities of the Baltic States continued to fall, but in Rīga prices of brand 95 petrol and diesel decreased more slowly than in Vilnius and Tallinn, according to data compiled by LETA July 23.

During the weekend, the most expensive fuel was available in Tallinn, followed by Rīga, while the cheapest petrol was in Vilnius. Meanwhile, the highest price for diesel was in Rīga, but the lowest was in Vilnius.

In Rīga, at the Circle K petrol station on Krasta Street, the price of both brand 95 petrol and diesel prices decreased by 0.5%, to EUR 1.944 and EUR 1.924 per liter, respectively.

In Vilnius, the price of brand 95 petrol at the “Circle K” petrol station Savanoriu Prospectus decreased by 2.1% – to EUR 1.879 per liter, the price of diesel also dropped by 2.1% and cost EUR 1.869 per liter on Friday.

In Tallinn, the price of brand 95 petrol at the Circle K service stations decreased by 2.1%, to EUR 1.949 per liter, while the price of diesel fell by 2.3% to EUR 1.899 per liter.

The price of autogas in Riga remained unchanged and cost EUR 0.825 per liter on Friday. Meanwhile, in Vilnius, the price of autogas decreased by 7.3% - to EUR 0.762 per liter, while in Tallinn increased by 1.1% - to EUR 0.88 per liter.
